Loren asks:

What is the academic year?

Alan responds:

The academic year means three quarters: Fall, Winter, and Spring. At the University of Washington this normally means the last Wednesday in September to the second week of June. There is also a summer quarter, but students are not required to take classes.

Alan Foster is a second year Master of Public Administration (MPA) student at the Evans School with interests in collaborative decision making, ethics in public leadership, neutral third dispute resolution, and political philosophy. More about Alan
