Forum for Health Economics and Policy accepted a paper for publication co-authored by Mark C. Long titled “Explanations for Persistent Nursing Shortages” for publication.
Long and co-authors Marsha Goldfarb of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Bob Goldfarb of George Washington University write about the economics of nursing market shortages by putting forward two new theoretical models that suggest three new explanations for perceived nursing shortages.
