MPA student Marissa Beach will present at the National Academy of Public Administration's Social Equity and Leadership Conference on the campus of Rutgers University-Newark from June 17-19, 2009. Her research on health inequities and the 2004 Right to Healthcare Seattle ballot initiative comes from her summer 2008 internship with Uplift International, a Seattle nonprofit working advance equity in global health.
