Mark C. Long received a $60,000 grant from the Smith Richard Foundation for a research project titled "Why are Men Falling Behind? Explanations for the Gender Gap in College Enrollment and BA Completion” that will examine individual and institutional factors leading to lower rates of male enrollment in post-secondary institutions and completion of bachelor's degrees.
