Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius announced her intent to appoint Dr. Helene Gayle as chair of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS. Gayle is president and CEO of CARE USA and a member of the Evans School's Visiting Committee. The announcement was made in Atlanta at the 2009 National HIV Prevention Conference.
