Recovery Act Case Program: New Ways to Make Government Work for People
The Evans School has partnered with the federal government's National Technical Information Service to create the Recovery Act Case Program, which intends to encourage all agencies and partners to bring forward their best examples of how the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act led to change in the ways that government does its work.
International Honors for Recent Grad and Current Student
Recent graduate Michaela Leslie-Rule (MPA '10) received the Young Investigator Award from the International AIDS Society and the Agence Nationale de Recherche sur le SIDA (ANRS) at the XVIII International AIDS Conference in Vienna and student Suzanne Simburg wins a Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarship to study management and business in Mexico..
Congratulations Class of 2010!
More than 150 students became the Evans School’s newest alumni at our Convocation ceremony on June 11. Held in Kane Hall, the event featured a convocation address from General Peter W. Chiarelli, vice chief of staff of the United States Army. Our 2010 Convocation ceremony also marked the celebration of the first graduate from our Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management program, Colleen Chrisinger.
