Master of Public Administration (MPA) Tuition and Fees
MPA students include those in the Peace Corps Master's International (PCMI) track and the Peace Corps Fellows program.
All rates are for full-time enrollment (7-18 credits). The academic year consists of autumn, winter, and spring quarters. Tuition is charged quarterly and is due Friday of the third week of the quarter. After registering for courses you can view a tuition summary by logging into your MyUW account.
Tuition for 2011-12
- Annual tuition: $15,861 (plus $828 in UW Fees)
- Quarterly tuition: $5,287 (plus $276 in UW Fees)
Non-resident out-of-state rate (includes international students)
- Annual tuition: $31,320 (plus $828 in UW Fees)
- Quarterly tuition: $10,440 (plus $276 in UW Fees)

Health Insurance
- A Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can be purchased through the Student Insurance Office.
- SHIP: $470/quarter, $1,410/year
- SHIP Plus: $544/quarter, $1,632/year
Additional estimated costs
- Books and Supplies*: $2,600 (for all courses required to earn the degree)
- Core courses: $1,400 (includes all 9 core courses, generally taken during the 1st year)
- Electives : $1,200 (generally taken during the 2nd year)
- Room and board: $13,578 (9-month academic year)
- Personal/Miscellaneous expenses: $2,265 (9-month academic year)
- Local transportation: $1,524 (9-month academic year)
